Xbox One Is Steam in Console Form, Says Microsoft Engineer - Report
A document coming from a self-proclaimed Microsoft engineer says that the coming Xbox One is pretty much a console implementation of all the features the Steam has already brought to digital distribution.
The Pastebin document also says that Microsoft wants to move the entire gaming industry towards the digital space but it has a difficult time converting retailers and publishers of its advantages.
The Microsoft engineer says, "The only diff is steam you have to sign in before playing, and Xbox does it automatically at night for you (once per 24 hours). It’s a long tail strategy, just like steam."
It's impossible to actually verify the identity of the man who actually created the document or the accuracy of the information but many talking point mesh well with what Microsoft has been saying about the Xbox One.
