Download Play MPE Player 2.0 for iPhone
Destiny Media Technologies has released Play MPE Player 2.0 for iPhone and iPod touch, an updated version of the company’s solution for accessing authorized MPE music files.
The player app is free to download, but you can only reap its benefits by means of a Play MPE account.
By using it, you can quickly stream and/or download pre-release audio tracks which you can then organize into a playlist.
The developers have this habit of sending email invitations. If that’s you, “a new account has already been created exclusively for you by a record label on the Play MPE system,” says the company.
Play MPE Player version 2.0 is now available for iPhone and iPod touch users. iPads are also supported, but not natively.
The updated app sports aesthetic improvements as part of a broader UI overhaul, as well as Online Playlists, and an option to mark files as Flagged. Also new, the My Library tab now features offline playback options.
